| - Roleplay Rules:
- 1. No God-Modding/ Omniscience / Meta-Gaming:
You are NEVER EVER allowed to control another person's character. Also, your character should have no knowledge of events that took place with your RP partners' plot(s) unless you were apart of those events. (There may or may not be rare exceptions to third-party plot knowledge.)
- 2. Make Your Posts As Descriptive And Creative As You Can.:
We ask that you try to make your posts as descriptive and creative as possible We aren't looking for Robert Lublum or Stephen King here, but we would like to see at least some degree of effort on your part.
- 3. Try To Refrain From Mature Topics, Unless You Mark Them As "Mature:
This site, at some point or another in the future, may allow mature topics. However, at this point in time, and given the nature of the site, we would prefer Mature content be kept to an absolute minimum. This means that if you must do a Mature Topic, not only must you mark it as such in the threads title, but you also may not go into super in-depth detail whatsoever!
- 4. 'Liquid Time' Has Limits.:
Unless you can duplicate yourself, which is extremely unlikely, or you specify it in the first post of your thread that it takes place before or after another thread you are in at the same time. This is only allowed for Social or Private threads. While your character is in a combative thread, you cannot have a thread that happens after it in the timeline going on at the same time.
- 5. Post Paragraphs, Not A Few Sentences.:
We know its hard for new RPers to post a lot of words, but you have to make the effort! We're not asking for a book, just at the very least, 200 words per post, that's not too hard, right?
- 6. Third Person, Past Tense.:
Posts for RPs are to ALWAYS be written in third person, past tense. (Ex: Sora has to run an errand but was too tired to go, so he stayed home instead.)
- 7. Post Order & Time Limit.:
When there's two or more people in a thread, a posting order MUST be established and must be agreed upon by all participants in the thread. If someone is unable to post, they need to let everyone know. If not, after 72 hours, they can be skipped in the thread without consent. So please try your best to within the time limit people, it's not that hard.
- 8.If It Is Not Your Business, Stay Out Of It.:
People will try to get involved in things that have absolutely NOTHING to do with them, they just need to mind their own business. Make sure you don't comment on any applications unless you are an ADMIN or MODERATOR. Those are the only people on the site with permission to reply to applications.
- Thread Rules:
- (Open):
This means the thread is open and anyone can join in at any time, so long as they let the current members of the thread know they are joining. They MUST make their first post as them just entering the scene and not entering the conversation yet.
- (Closed):
This means the thread is closed off to new participants because the people who would participate were decided on beforehand.
- (Social):
This means the thread is simply a relaxed, chatting and interaction non-combative thread.
- (Private):
This means the thread is closed after a certain amount, or the predetermined person's/people have joined. One people whose names are in the title can post in the thread.
- (Mission):
Much like private threads, mission threads can only be posted in by people whose names are in the topics title. This type of thread must be marked "Mission:" at the beginning of the title, then comes the name of the mission you are taking on. This type of thread is only used for jobs you take on, please don't ever use this title placement for a social thread. (The sole exception being mission's in which you must interact with a designated NPC before or after the mission.)
- (PvP):
This is the same as mission and private threads. Only people whose names are in the title may post in thread, unless specatators are allowed or invited into the thread. "PvP" stand for player versus player. It should be indicated in the beginning of the thread's title by putting "PvP" then the name of th thread, followed by the combatants names in brackets or parenthesis. At this point in time, player killing threads are not allowed.
- (Event):
This is a special kind of thread that can only be created under specific circumstances, or by certain people. In most cases, these can only be created by ADMINS and may have special rewards attached to them. If a faction/group leader wishes to create a team event, they must get the permission of at least TWO Administrators first.
- Chatbox Rules:
1. Respect all staff members at ALL times in the chatbox and/or Skype chatroom.
2. Respect your fellow players at ALL times in the chat. (i.e. no name calling, hurtful trolling, etc.)
3. This IS a mature site, so mild cursing is allowed, but under NO circumstance may it ever be directed at another player, and especially not a member of staff.
4. NO SPAMMING OR ADVERTISING ANOTHER SITE IN THE CHATBOX AT ANY TIME!! (One created, please use the proper forum section for that.)
